Choosing Resilliance

Updated: Jan 4, 2022

What we all can likely agree on is, this journey changes us.... and you know what!!!! It's okay to grieve! It's okay to mention your loss! It's okay to admit you're hurting!!!

We cannot return back to who we once were before marriage, before kids, before the first date, or the first kiss.

You are different but in the most amazing way and you may be wondering... Who am I now I'll tell you who you are!!!!

You are COURAGEOUS

You are RESILIENCY

You are LOVE

You are COMPASSION

There is a softness about you that is stained with

hurt

pain

regret

guilt

anger

There buried deep within you, is a HOPE that something has to be made of this moment....

There buried inside of you, is a place of GRATITUDE in knowing that your loved one spent their last moments loving you....

While loss changes you, it doesn't get to DEFINE you unless you allow it!

This is one hole you're going to have to FIGHT your way out of

Moment by moment

Choice by choice

Action by action

You will not leave your love behind, trust they are forever ingrained in you.

Think of how proud they would be to see you:

STANDING

FIGHTING

LOVING

LIVING

What are some things I can do to battle today:

Greif Counseling

Journaling

Go for a Walk

Open the Curtains

Eat

Call a friend

Adopt a pet

Join an in person support group

How will you fight today???
